Staying with the Welsh Theme here are articles from  M.E. Morton Lloyd and R.W. Rush on Cambrian Coaching Stock.

All the articles I post are for modelling purposes only, not to be used  or printed elsewhere.

The first is from M.E.M. Lloyd of the Cambrian 6 Wheelers from the MRC magazine of September 1964

Five Compartment Thirds

The 4 Coaches in outline on page 240 were a poor print in the magazine and some of the text is difficult to read. So I shall add here what I think is necessary.

1st coach  L = 28' 2" W = 7' 11¾" W/B = 9' 1½" W over Duckets 9' 5¾"

2nd coach L = 32' 0" W = 8' 3" W over footboards 8' 9" W/B 9' 9". H = 11' 5 1/8" rail to t o Roof.

In between the side and end view reads as follows 'View showing Lav. Water filler Tank Situated centrally between Lamp Pots.

3rd coach L = 29' 5" W = 7' 11¾" W/B = 9' 1½" Height from rail to centre of buffer = 3' 7" also same for coach 2 & 4

4th coach L = 28' 6" W = 7' 11¼" W/B = 9' 1½  W over bottom footboards = 8' 7" H between footboards = 1' 4¼" Over headstocks = 28' 5"

I hope this will be of use to you modellers who may attempt to model these Coaches.

The second is from R. W. Rush of the Cambrian Observation Car from the MRC Magazine.
